TogglePer , Yamal has agreed to sign a new long-term contract that will keep him at Barcelona until June 2031. On Monday, the Catalan side reached a full agreement with Yamal's agent, Jorge Mendes, and the teenager is now expected to formally sign the deal on Tuesday.

Yamal had a sensational year with the Catalan giants as he scored 18 goals and provided 25 assists in 55 matches across all competitions. He played a key role in the Blaugrana winning a domestic treble and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
After securing the future of manager Hansi Flick and star players Raphinha and Yamal, Barcelona will now aim to offload some of their first-team players to generate enough money to make new buys to further bolster their squad.
