The defensive midfielder, who turned up on crutches to Madrid's La Liga title celebrations over the weekend, told Spanish publication Marca: "I think I'll make it to the final. I will be ready."
Reports in Spain suggested the former Monaco man, who joined Madrid for an initial £68.8 million ($86m) in 2022, had a 20% chance of making the Champions League final. If he isn't fit, that will be a big loss for Madrid, who are bidding to win a record-extending 15th title in this competition.
Before that Champions League final in London, Madrid take on Alaves on Tuesday, followed by Villarreal on May 19, and then they round off the league season on May 25 at home to Real Betis.
