ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Just six minutes into Saturday's match against Lecce, Samuel Chukwueze beat his man and played a ball toward Pulisic at the edge of the box. The American took a touch onto his left foot and proceeded to curl a shot towards the far post, leaving Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with no chance of saving his perfectly-placed effort. The goal was Pulisic's 13th of the season in all competitions as he continues to make his mark during his first campaign in Serie A.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Pulisic continues to thrive in Serie A having now scored 10 league goals in addition to his six assists. He's scored a further two in the Europa League while also netting one during Milan's Champions League campaign.
With this 10th goal of the Serie A season, Pulisic has now surpassed his best-ever domestic scoring season in Europe, beating his totals achieved at either Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund. His previous best was a nine-goal return for the Blues in the 2019-20 season.
