AC Milan have identified Lyon's Lucas Perri as a replacement for Mike Maignan who is pushing for a move to Chelsea after accepting personal terms.

ToggleChelsea's attempts to sign goalkeeper Maignan have prompted Milan to seek a possible replacement and in Italy reports Lyon's Perri has been deemed an apt replacement.

Maignan has reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea and has asked Milan to accept Chelsea’s increased offer. Milan considered names such as Roma’s Miles Svilar, Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Parma’s Zhion Suzuki before settling on Perri.
Perri kept 10 clean sheets for Lyon this season and conceded 44 goals. The Brazilian goalkeeper joined Lyon from Brazilian club Botafogo in 2023.
Milan are set to rebuild the squad led by Italian tactician Masimilliano Allegri. With Maignan pushing for a move, Theo Hernandez in talks to join Atletico Madrid and Tijjani Reijnders off to Manchester City, Milan could start their rebuild with the signing of Perri.
